Susan McGuire -- Former President Susan who has a passion for ministry with mid and later life adults is serving her second term as President of the SEJAOA. Susan is Director of Older Adult Ministries at Edenton UMC, Raleigh, N.C. She is a Fellow of the Norman T. Allers Academy on Older Adult Ministries. She is on the Board of Directors for Resources for Seniors, the Wake County agency for the aging; is the church liason for the Ruth Sheets Adult Care Center. Susan is a graduate of Brevard College, Brevard, NC and has a degree in Public Relations from North Carolina State University. She and husband Brian sing in the Chancel choir. Brian edits and facilitates the live web video-streaming for the church’s worship services, live radio feed and weekly recorded worship service for television broadcast. They have two children and two grandchildren.
Bishop William Morris -- Representative of the College of Bishop to theSEJ.
The bishop and wife Princilla live in Gallatin, Tennessee. He began his pastoral ministry in Chicago and served in the Tennessee Annual Conferenc where he was ordained elder in 1961, and in 1992 he was consecrated bishop of the SEJurisdiction. His ministry has included Conference, Jurisdictional and General UMC responsibilities. Now retired he continues to live out his passion for evangelism, missions and stewardship. He consultant and participant with the SEJAOA. He is a profoundly gifted, teacher, pastor and administrator.

Nancy Metz -- Vice-President of Program Nancy is the chairperson of the Beyond 50 Ministries Task Team of the Florida Conference. Her ministry began with visitation and involvement in the lives of the homebound seniors of her congregation when her pastor recognized her heart before she did! She and husband Ron serve their church in music, leadership, and service, and are enjoying being involved with their grandchildren. Nancy and husband Ron live in Cape Coral, Florida.
Lucy Lipp -- Vice-President of Publicity Lucy served as director of Older Adult Ministries, a mission agency of the NAC for frou years land then as director for two years before becoming the SCSEP Project Director for the Jefferson County Alabama Area Agency on Aging. SCSEP is a federally funded mission to identify older adults who need to work and prepare them to reenter the job market. She is a graduate of University of South Florida with a degree in health education and has a Master's degree in counseling from Montevallo University. She has partnered with her pastor husband Bill in serving UMChurches in Florida, Georgia, Illinois and Alabama. They have three adult children and 16 grandchildren.
Sandra Gerhardt -- Sandra Gerhardt has been active in the SEJAOA from its inception, serving in several positions and leading the association into new and pertinent ministries. Sandra and has been elected by the bishops to be the SEJ Representative to the Board of Discipleship Committee on Older Adult Ministries. Sandra is an energetic and passionate advocate for preparing local church leaders for ministy to, with, by and for older adults. She lives in Pell City, Alabama. Sandra and her e great-grandchildren.

Rev. Rodney -- President Rodney and his wife Angela live in Aiken S C where he has been the senior pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church for 11 years. He is a graduate of Methodist University,Candler School of Theology at Emory University, and Erskine Seminary where he did his doctoral work in gerontology and ministry design for older adults. He serves on the SC Conference Council on Older Adult Ministry and is fellow of the Aller' s Academy.

Wade Barr -- Secretary Wade Barr currently serves as The Macon Camps Administrator and is Adminstrator of the Magnolia Manor, an independent living and nursing center in Americus, Georgia. Wade is a member of the Georgia Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (non-profit). He served two terms as president of the Assisted Living Association of Georgia and has served on the Southeastern Jurisdictional Association of Older Adults and the conference Committee on Older Adults. Wade is a certified Lay Speaker and a Sunday School Teacher and Church Council member in the Americus UMC where he and wife Susan attend. They have two sons and one perfect grandson, David One son teaches history in the Americus High School and the other son is in the military and recieved a Purple Heart and the Combat Infantry Badge while serving his 2nd tour in Iraq. He is a scouter of 50 years and a baseball an soccer volunteer coach. He is a graduate of Georgian Southern University. He has served as a leader in the Red Cross, the Kiwanis Club, the Recreation Authority. The Georgia Jaycees named Wade one of the 10 outstanding Young Georgians in 1985. He is committed to his church, his family and to his community and to ministry to and with older Americans.
